Circa 1830, probably incorporating earlier fabric. Single
span rubble bridge; tooled rubble segmental arch ring
springing from tooled rubble abutments. Shallow buttressing
to winged approaches terminating with giant end pilasters
with tooled ashlar cushion caps. Tooled rubble cope to
parapet.
Later cast-iron stays.
Approximate span; 40'.
By 1794 the Duke of Gordon had 'Caused a road for carriages
to be made from Glenrinnes up through Glen Livet to
Tomintoul'. The original bridge over the Conglass Water at
this point probably damaged or destroyed during great floods
of August 1829.
Cushion end caps a characteristic of Duke of Gordon bridges
in this area. One cap replaced with rendered copy.
