Description

Circa 1830. Large coursed rubble W facing walled garden with
random rubble to exterior N face and low W wall. Tooled
granite cope; entrances in N and S walls with checked jambs
and surviving iron hinges. Later ornamental iron gates.
BOTHY: simple double gabled single storey rubble bothy built
against N wall; coped end stacks; Banffshire slate roof.

Statement of Interest

Earlier walled garden destroyed by 1829 floods. The Gardens

Cottage not included in listing.
