Description

Dated 1696. Substantial S facing rectangular dovecot. Harl
pointed rubble, tooled rubble margins. Centre door with small
datestone above; pair square flightholes above upper rat
course (lower course missing) and further similar flight hole
in W gable. Piended Banffshire slate roof with later
weatherboard ridge cupola with 16 small flightholes and
pyramidal slate roof.
INTERIOR: divided into 2 chambers together lined with 844
stone slab nesting boxes.
