1838, 2-storey, 3-bay N facing dwelling fronting later 18th
century earlier house of similar size with rear projecting
stairwell. Coursed rubble frontage with tooled ashlar
dressings; harled rear block also with tooled ashlar
dressings.
Square porch masks centre door, round-headed entrance,
chamfered angles, wallheaded cornice and blocking course.
Deep tooled chamfered margins to all front windows and
doorway, the upper windows smaller than ground floor. 16-
pane glazing with thicker centre wooden mullions to sashes.
12-pane glazing to rear block; 2 later dormers.
Front block with paired square ashlar end stacks set
diagonally; simple coped end stacks to rear. Slate roofs.
Single storey wing at right angles to W gable fronted at S
gable by 1983 canted bay glazed sunroom.
