Probably built in first half of 18th century. Bridge, single semi-circular arch over River Nethan; rubble-built, recessed
arch rings with bolection-moulding all red ashlar. Low
parapets with plain 19th century metal rails added. Narrow
roadway.
Superseded by bridge to north nearby which may have been on
line of Telford's road of the 1820's; 2 20th century bridges
lie to the north again, beyond.
