Description

Probably built in first half of 18th century. Bridge, single semi-circular arch over River Nethan; rubble-built, recessed

arch rings with bolection-moulding all red ashlar. Low

parapets with plain 19th century metal rails added. Narrow

roadway.

Statement of Interest

Superseded by bridge to north nearby which may have been on

line of Telford's road of the 1820's; 2 20th century bridges

lie to the north again, beyond.
