Dated 1742 and 1803, restored circa 1968. Single store corf
house built around square court. Modern harling over rubble
with tooled rubble dressings. Symmetrical south facing 7-bay
entrance front with centre segmental wide arched entrance
with datestone above; 3 windows to each side of entrance (to
right lighting former dwelling); multi-pane glazing. Inner
court contains range of various stores with former fish-house
in centre of north range, built against slope. 3 wide
segmental-headed brick fire places, each fitted with iron
pins to support swey, one of which is 1742 datestone. Further
similar hearth in west wall. Large stack to north.
Piended corrugated asbestos roof.
Corf House; a commercial salmon fishing building. The Lovat
salmon fishings on the River Beauly were well known for their
wealth. 1742 datestone over hearth initialled SLL for Simon
Lord Lovat. That over entrance;

Inner court cobbled single large copper cauldron (for par-
boiling fish) survives. Former ice house at NW now gutted.
Building still used for commercial salmon fishing.
