Description

Dated 1867. Scottish Renaissance 2-storey and attic,
3-bay frontage (NW) to street with curved angle to west
corbelled over 1st floor to form large crowstepped gable.
Coursed, stugged rubble, tooled contrasting sandstone
dressings.
Ground floor shop front with round-headed door and 2
similarly detailed shop windows to left, 1 flat-headed
window right. 1 bipartite in 1st floor; all remaining
windows simple sash and case; 2 gabletted and bargeboarded
dormers with sliding sashes front and rear; mainly
12-pane glazing crowsteps; corniced end stacks; slate
roof.
Centre circular stair turret to rear with conical roof;
later 2-storey wing extends to rear with frontage to side
lane.
