Circa 1870. Style of Alexander Ross. Single storey,
symmetrical gabled range of single room dwellings, forming
U-plan court to rear. White-washed rubble. 8 bay frontage
with broad end advanced gables and 2 smaller gables with
doors in bays nos. 3 and 6. Symmetrical 3-bay flanks similar
gable detailings and centre door. Most 4-pane glazing
survives; blind vents to each gable; renewed end and ridge
stacks; slate roof.
Now serves at 2 dwellings. Gifted by Sir Daniel and Lady
Hamilton of Balmacara. Each room had grate, bed, bedding and
free fuel.
