1785. Single span rubble bridge with slight hump-back. Dressed
rubble arch ring; roughly dressed rubble parapet. Some heavy
cement pointing.
The military road from Stirling to Fort William was
initially (1752) routed via the Devil's Staircase and
Kinlochleven, but was re-aligned via Glencoe and
Ballachulish in 1785.
