Description

Later-late 19th century. Pair of ashlar gatepiers with base course, moulded cornice and pyramidal caps with ball finials. Cast-iron gates with curvilinear ornament and spear-headed railings.

Statement of Interest

The drive entered by these gates was in situ by the 1sr edition OS Map, 1867. Stylistically however the gates and piers seem to be late 19th century.
