Circa 1800, possibly incorporating an earlier building. 2-storey, 4-bay range, near contemporary with large stable block opposite (listed separately), probably providing coachman's accommodation; vehicle slapping at ground floor suggests former coachhouse use. Squared and coursed red sandstone rubble, some re-used with contrasting raised ashlar dressings, probably originally harled. Piended slated roof, corniced ashlar stacks renewed in brick to W.
S (FRONT) ELEVATION: corniced, tripartite doorway to 2nd bay from right with timber double doors, door to outer right, strip fanlights. Large slapping to left with timber sliding door. 4 windows at 1st floor, lying-pane sash and case glazing.
Window to E GABLE, later bipartite with band course above, echoing band course on gable ends of stables. Stone forestair to W GABLE to door close under eaves at 1st floor.
