Description

Probably dating to 1828 (see NOTES). U-plan steading to W of manse; single-storey with loft contained beneath eaves; squared granite rubble with pinnings, ashlar skews; pitched slated roof, piend-roofed to rear (N). Masonry ball finial over south-facing gable to W; vehicular entrance below, tall rectangular loft opening above in gable-head, as at E gable-end; vertically-boarded doors throughout. Pair pedestrian/stable doors to S courtyard elevation with split, vertically-boarded doors. Vehicular opening with vertically-boarded door on sliding track inserted at W elevation. Right-hand window on W courtyard elevation with 6 fixed panes over timber panel (glazing not original).
