Description

Erected to commemorate the inauguration of Brechin
reservoir in October 1874 (which was by J M Gale,
Glasgow City Water engineer). Cast-iron, pedestal with
pilastered angles, inscribed panel, ogee-domed top
faintly "Thomsonesque" in appearance, very elaborate and
delicate tall metal finial.
