Description

Possibly 16th century. 2-stage beehive dovecot, 15' in
diameter. Rubble dormerly harled. Rat-course. Low
doorway. Remains of shallow cone cap with slates.
Curved rubble wall of Congalton Gardens encircling
dovecot at rear with brick wall abacking.
INTERIOR: circular tiers lining dovecot with nesting boxes.

Dovecot in poor condition (1987). Upper portion is

later, but not considerably.
