Circa 1823-55 range of 1- and 2-storey ancillary buildings, rubble- built, with ashlar lodge and 20th century concrete infill block. Lade to rear.
FROM W: single-storey 4-bay stables and coach-house, with sharp angle and rear curved to line of lade. 2-storey 15-bay block with office at left approached by steps. Clock. 4 W-most bays chamfered at rear for lade. Single-storey 8-bay concrete range, circa 1920, over bridge for lade to East Mill. Single-storey 10-bay range.
GOTHICK LODGE: 3 by 3-bay. Central pointed arched door with flanking hoodmoulded lights. 3-bay E elevation with Y-traceried hood-moulded windows, centre bay blind.
Slate roofs, piended on single-storey blocks, gabled and altered to tiles on 2-storey block circa 1987. Windows sash and case, 42-pane, some altered. Large Gothic traceried panes to lodge.
INTERIORS: single rows of cast-iron columns and wooden floors in principal 2-storey block.
Latterly the cigarette tape department circa 1916 with canteen and office at 1st floor. The lodge appears to have been inspired by Scone Palace.
