Description

Andrew Heiton & Son 1850, extended and gardens laid out
1877-8, large Edwardian stairhall inserted later. 2-storey
coursed stugged rubble, symmetrical twin gabled S. front
with later asymmetrical twin E. wing, bay windows and
bargeboards; W. entrance elevation with neo-Tudor porch.

Statement of Interest

Built by the Hon. Captain William Ogilvy, brother of the

8th Earl of Airlie.

Enlarged 1877-8 for Professor Sir George Ramsay.
