Description

Probably late 18th century. Garden wall at N end of enclosure
containing garden seat, steps, pineapple urns sundial, and
stepped down steep slope. Walls red sandstone, rubble to
outer face, ashlar lining to garden, modern concrete coping.
Wall returns S from each end, with gateway, 3rd gate central
on N wall (gateways lintelled to garden, arched outer faces).
Series of rectangular recesses flanking N gate (one re-using
chamfered lintel) probably bee-boles.
