The simple doocot stands to the W of Craigluscar House and forms part of the entrance to the farmyard with a crenellated wall extending from the doocot and from the opposite barn. The barn is not part of the Statutory List but the crenellated wall extending from it is. The name Craigluscar is depicted on Ainslie's Map.
