Circa 1800. Extended by J Dick Peddie 1853-54, further
alterations by Gillespie of St Andrews 1898. Originally
2-storey, 3-window, ashlar on south with centre bay advanced
and pedimented, rubble built to rear centre 1st long stair
window over blind window. Extended eastwards by one bay with
slight recession to south, new main entablature north front
with date 1854, taller ashlar west wing with single-storey
canted bay and 1st floor bipartite to south, symmetrical west
front with 2 close-spaced centre 1st floor windows, widely
spaced ground floor windows with shields in panels above,
centre stack of 3 square shafts linked by small arches with
overall cornice, later (?) 3-light rectangular bay to right
matching canted bays exactly. North front similar to south,
square porch with lugged architrave cornice and blocking
course in re-entrant angle. Original glazing, but left hand
floor window at south front of original house altered to
bipartite.
