Early 19th century classical mansion house. 2 storeys over raised basement: 3-bay symmetrical south front built in lightly droved ashlar with polished dressings (remainder rubble-built): central bay advanced and pedimented; recessed door with decorative fanlight and wide pilastered doorpiece approached by steps with ornate cast-iron balusters; tripartite in 1st floor, 12-pane sashes to outer bays, doubled basement windows. Band course at ground floor, broad angle pilasters, cornice and blocking course: grouped octagonal end stacks, and piended slate roof. Modern low garage extension to west. East and west elevations have 4 bays, some windows blocked, 1 blind bay to west elevation door and enlarged window to basement of latter elevation.
Enclosed by rubble-built garden wall linked to corniced square gatepiers by spearhead cast-iron railings.
