Double L-plan group with later 18th century farmhouse
attached to a large late 19th century addition, outbuildings
to north. Earlier block, 2 storeys, rubble with ashlar
dressings, hipped slate roof, 3 windows with wide margins,
original glazing. The addition, 2 storeys, whinstone rubble
with ashlar dressings, 3 windows with paired lights to sides
and ashlar bays below, single staircase window in centre.
Simple stone doorpiece in the angle of the buildings.
Attached to north side, a single-storey L-shaped office range
with hipped slate roofs, rubble walls, metal bars to windows.
Graded B for the importance of the group in relation to the
steadings.
