Description

After 1862(?). Single-storey brick and timber block, pitched
slate roof, end bargeboards with tie-beam and pendant, brick
stacks with moulded cornices. Flat-roofed canopy with fretted
wooden valance, fine panelled screen to offices and waiting
rooms with moulded vertical and horizontal members,
continuous glazing. Original fireplaces and fittings inside.
The east block is linked by a subway (original?) to the main
west block.

Statement of Interest

This lies outside the old Ladybank Burgh boundary. Probably

built following the amalgamation of the Edinburgh, Perth and

Dundee Railway (previously Edinburgh and Northern Railway)

into the North British Railway 1862.
