Description

Good octagonal horsemill of possible 18th century date.
Masonry walling some droved blocks, circular inside, timber
lintels to openings. Pyramidal pantile roof (sagging in
outline), half-round ridge tiles. Much of original roof
timber work survives with a recent cage inserted above
tie-beams. Centre of roof structure supported by steel
girder.

Statement of Interest

Adjoining threshing house to south has been largely

demolished.
