Description

Dated 1809. Picturesque former corn mill, now used as farm
store. Traditional rubble-built, dressed quoins, skew gables,
Celtic cross to south gable, pantile roofs; mainly 2-storey
with assorted plain openings (small towards eaves), truncated
pyramidal roof to kiln, original stone forestair with ramped
sides to north gable end, segmental arch at ground level.
Later adjoining single-storey and loft farm steadings (Z
shape on plan), rubble built, pantile roofs, hipped and skew
gables, loft door in north-range with swept roof.

The date 1677 carved on a stone over wall doorway to mill

grounds.
