Irregular U-plan 2-storey stable range of different builds.
Rubble, harled on inner face, ashlar margins. Early 18th century
main N/S range, probably by James Smith and Alexander McGill.
Slightly advanced outer wings in S elevation each with blocked
or altered segmental-headed carriage house entrances;
shallow swept louvred dormers in roof of outer bays.
Narrow slightly irregular 5-bay N elevation (facing courtyard)
with alternate doorways in ground floor and loft fenestration.
Small early 19th century clock plinth breaks roof at centre
with diminutive leaded dome supported by slender struts.
Short early 19th century 2-storey, 2-bay wing with 2 carriage
houses in ground floor projects from NW side of inner face of
early block.
Similar 2-storey, 7-bay range at NE angle with 3 carriage
houses in ground floor.
6- and 12-pane glazing. Ridge and wallhead coped stacks;
Banffshire slate roofs.
Remainder of courtyard enclosed by rubble walls; entrance
flanked by simple rubble gatepiers (no gates), the short
driveway flanked by swept coped walls topped by recumbant
lions each side.
