Description

1799, with small additions, 1838; further additions, William
Munro, Inverness, 1855. 2-storey and attic, 3 bay core with
additional wings to rear and to (south) front forming roughly
cruciform plan. Harled with ashlar margins (some margins
rendered) Centre bay of early manse masked by (1855) large
2-storey, single bay gabled wing, with single wings in ground
and 1st floors, south and west. (1855) gabletted entrance in
eastern bay of original house. 2 original piended dormers. 1
single storey, 1 2-storey wing to rear, both 2 bays. Mainly
12-pane glazing; corniced ridge and end stacks; slate roof.

Statement of Interest

An earlier manse stood nearer the old church, but was

demolished after flooding. Small additions and new set of

offices date from 1838. Steading in poor repair and not

listed
