Late 18th century. Small round tower folly/lookout post
on Gullane Hill. Rubble, formerly harled. Rubble
boundary wall abutting to S and NE. Projecting porch at E.
3 lights under eaves with 4-pane glazing to sash and case
windows. Slated cone roof with decorative cast-iron finial.
Overlooks golf links and the Firth of Forth. Formerly
belonged to Whim House (demolished), and currently lies in
the grounds of The Roundel, Whim Road. Marked as "wheem" and
the property of "Darg Esq" on Forrest's map.
