The date 1733 is on the lintel above this doorway with the two oculi on each side. There is the remains of a larger window to the left and other tombstones and the current church beyond.
The tombstone leaning against the doorway is to the memory of the Rev Peter Proudfoot, late minister of Arrochar, who died in 1843.
