Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan house and single storey, L-plan former outbuildings, now post office and shop to outer left. Painted rubble with painted ashlar margins and dressings; quoin strips; base course; eaves band; advanced eaves.
S ELEVATION: pair of doors at centre, that at left 2-leaf boarded, that at right modern uPVC door. Broad flanking windows (4-pane sash and case windows to left, plate glass and top-hung window to right). Windows symmetrically disposed at 1st floor, directly under eaves (12-pane sash and case window at centre, 8-pane sash and case to right, plate glass and top-hung to left).
L-plan former outbuildings to left, 2-bay link block with modern uPVC door to right, 4-pane sash and case window to left; rectangular-plan gabled block aligned to right, door with canted window, modern multi- paned windows.
12-pane, 8-pane, 4-pane timber sash and case windows; plate glass top-hung upper panes, modern multi-paned windows. Grey and purple piended roof, lead flashings, red sandstone corniced wallhead stacks, octagonal cans. Grey slate roof with lead flashings for former outbuildings.
INTERIOR: not seen 1992.
