History

The war memorial was erected in 1921. It was designed by the leading Northamptonshire architect JA Gotch, to commemorate the men of the village who had died whilst fighting during the First World War. It was funded by public subscription. Details for the Second World War were added at a later date. Repairs, funded by the War Memorials Trust, were carried out in 2010.
