Detached house in own grounds, now school. c1830-1840.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, hipped slate roof with axial stacks and to the returns.
PLAN: Double depth plan with rear wings.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys and basement, five-window range. Moulded coped parapet with stone balustrades over windows, returned moulded cornice, ground floor platband, plinth, banded rustication with radial voussoirs to basement, moulded architraves to six/six-pane sash windows, those to first floor with cornices. Centre stepped forward with full height canted bay and blind balustrading to windows, ends are double stepped forward with pediments on consoles and pierced stone balconies on stone brackets to first floor windows.
INTERIOR: Four-panel doors, moulded architraves with cornices, dado rails, and skirting boards, white marble fireplace to entrance hall.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Stone balustrade approx 30m long and 4m wide encloses terrace to front.
