Formerly known as: Rosemount ROSEMOUNT LANE. Detached house. Early C19 with C20 additions.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, slate roofs.
PLAN: Irregular L-plan house, with long narrow wing to canted ends and hipped roofs, parallel with Rosemount Lane, broad wing to rear, also hipped. Entrance in internal angle on Lyncombe Vale Road side at higher end of steeply sloping site.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys, twelve-pane sash windows, east front, facing into valley, has one sash in set back wing, one to each facet of end bay, above same. To Rosemount Lane painted blind twelve-pane at each level at left, with six-pane, centre, above panelled door in pilasters, with segmental pediment, probably early C20. To right bold flat roofed projecting two storey bay with large sashes. Upper end has blind lights, and wing to right has one sash above glazed conservatory porch. Late C20 garages and outbuildings at upper end adjacent to streets.
