Commercial premises. c1880.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, roof unseen, has shared stacks to party walls.
PLAN: Double depth plan.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys, symmetrical Neo-classical Revival three-window front. Building is taller than those to either side; coped parapet returned to left, stopped cornice and frieze, six plate glass windows to second floor, pediments and pulvinated friezes to three tripartite windows to first floor with stone mullions, transoms and continuous rolled sill band. Rising from simple corbels at corners of pediments are pilasters, on frieze and moulded capitals of pilasters repeated on similar corbels between remaining second floor windows that have moulded lintels and paired sills. Shopfront altered: tripartite, with entrance in left bay.
