Symmetrical pair of semi-detached houses overlooking Kennet and Avon Canal to the rear. c1825.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, roof unseen, moulded stacks to party wall.
PLAN: Double depth plan.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys and lower ground floor, symmetrical five bay front, with projecting end bays sporting bind arch recesses with doors; blind arch and blind first floor window to central, party wall, bay. Coped parapet, cornice, frieze and first floor sill band encircle building. No.45 to right has two/one-pane sash windows and seven-panel door glazed to top and with circular panels to centre. No.46 has six/six-pane sash windows and six-panel door glazed to top. turns have blind windows except to first floor rear, similar to those at front.
INTERIORS: Not inspected. This elevation corresponds in most aspects with an unsigned design submitted to the Bathwick Estate Office in 1825.
