House, now flats. c1770-1775 with C19 and C20 alterations. Possibly developed by Mark Spencer.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar to front, rubble to basement, rubble to rear, double pile parapeted mansard roof, Welsh Slate to front and rear, with coped party wall with two ashlar stacks with early clay pots to right. Staircase to front.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys, attic and basement, two-window range. First floor has to left six/six sash in splayed reveal with stone sill, to right plate glass horned sash in splayed reveal with stone sill with wrought iron balconette. Second floor has two six/six sashes in splayed reveals with stone sills. Ground floor has to right two/two sash in splayed reveal with stone sill, to left seven-panel door with flush beaded and fielded panels with single glazed panel over in beaded reveal, one step to Pennant paved crossover with cast iron footscraper. Basement has two six/six sashes in plain reveals with continuous stone sill, C20 door in timber screen with three-pane overlight infilling under crossover, no area steps. Double dormer with six/six sashes. Band course over ground floor, modillion cornice and coped parapet continuous with No.3 Spencer's Belle Vue (qv), and lead hopperhead and part lead downpipe to left shared between houses. Rear elevation has full height shallow segmental bow with two two/two sashes to second floor and two/two sashes to dormer.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Attached wrought iron railings with arrow heads on limestone bases.
