Terrace house. c1775.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar to front, ashlar and rubble to rear; double pile roof, parapeted to front, concrete tile to front and rear, with two ashlar stacks with some early clay pots to left. Staircase to rear.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys and basement; single bay three window front First floor has Venetian window with four/four six/six four/four horned sashes in splayed reveals with continuous stone sill. Ground floor has to left similar six/six sash in plain reveal with splayed jambs with stone sill, to right six panel door with flush beaded, fielded and glazed panels with cast iron lions mask knocker in stone doorcase with ovolo moulded architrave in flat surround with heavy console brackets supporting projecting moulded cornice over; one step to pennant paved crossover. Basement has six/six horned sash in splayed reveal, six panel door under crossover. Band course over ground floor; coved eaves cornice and coped parapet. Rear elevation partially visible has six/six sashes to second floor and second half-landing, two light timber casement to first floor.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Attached wrought iron railings and gate with shaped heads on limestone bases and with bottom bar.
