20/12/72 Walls and gates piers to Newell Hall

Walls and gate piers. C18. Approximately 22 metres long and
1.8 metres high running north-south.
MATERIALS: red brick in Flemish bond, semi-circular brick
capping. 2 panelled gate piers on south with weathered plinth,
stone weathered caps and stone flower basket finials.
PLAN: C20 wrought iron gates.
EXTERIOR: To right of entrance gates, wall has been reduced in
height to dwarf wall of no special interest. To right of dwarf
wall, wall continuous nearly 2 metres high for 11-bays in
easterly direction with semicircular brick capping. 2 panelled
pilasters in first 2-bays with plinths and stone weathered
caps.
