Outbuildings and barn. Late C16 and early C18.
MATERIALS: brick in Flemish bond, old tile hipped and
half-hipped roofs. Part timber-framed.
PLAN: U-plan.
EXTERIOR: barn is 5 framed bays with later aisle and hipped
mistrey on east.
INTERIOR: barn has queen post roof with clasped purlins,
curved windbraces and jowled posts. 2 northernmost bays have
been altered. Outbuilding adjoining barn on south has 4-bay
tall queen post roof with side struts to principal rafters,
roof is lined. Outbuilding on north linking Peacock Farmhouse
(qv) now forms an extension to house.
