Formerly known as: The Cottage CHURCH HILL.
House. Mid C18, extended and refronted early C19.
MATERIALS: Red brick in Flemish bond, old tile gabled roof of
3 parallel spans.
PLAN: Rectangular plan with cross gabled extension on right,
single storey extension on left.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. 4 tall chimneys with offset heads and
clay pots. Sash windows with glazing bars and gauged brick
arches. Entrance (south-east) front: Centre part of 5-bays.
Parapet. Large projecting canted lobby in second bay, with
lead roof and slightly projecting wooden porch in front.
Single bay gable at right with tripartite window on ground
floor and dentilled brick eaves. Single storey extension on
left with slate roof and one window.
