War Memorial. 1920. By AA Hunt and CL Coates of Bury St Edmunds. Clipsham ashlar. The memorial is in the form of a 16 foot high cenotaph on a stepped base. The main block, above which the smaller blocks diminish in size, has the names of the Fallen in both World Wars on the side facing the Church of St Mary (qv) and a carved roundel in relief of St George and the Dragon on the side facing the fields. Inscription and dates on the ends.
An imposing and well-designed memorial forming a group with the Church of St. Mary.
