with a balustraded parapet and a cornice. It stands in a former deer

in 1818-19 by W Pilkington (Colvin). There are older buildings at the
rear. Roof slate, hipped, with 3 dormers behind the parapet. Two storeys
and attics. The south-east front has outer 2 storeyed splayed bays
each with 3 window range and 3 window range between them. The windows
are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A central rusticated perch
projects on the front with Tuscan columns in antis. The north-west
front has 12 window range. The interior has a C16 core and there are
C16 wall paintings.
