Pair of houses. Early C19 with C20 alterations. Red brick in
English bond with hipped pantile roof and 2 ridge stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 3-bay front with deep overhanging eaves.
Off-centre 6-panelled and carved door with plain overlight,
with surround having panelled pilasters with paterae and
moulded flat hood. To the left a glazing bar sash and to right
a C20 window. To 1st floor an off-centre recessed blank
opening with to left a glazing bar sash and to right a C20
window. To 2nd floor 3 smaller similar openings.
The right-hand elevation to Threadneedle Street has a similar
doorway flanked by single C20 windows. Above a tall
semicircular-headed stair window has to the left a blank, and
to right a C20 window on both upper floors.
INTERIOR: of both houses retains stick baluster stair and some
contemporary joinery items.
