The Golden Lion Public House

GV II

Public house. C18, altered C20. Rendered brick, concrete tile
roof, 2 gable stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey, 4-bay front with moulded fascia.
Off-centre door with cornice hood over. To left three and to
right two C20 leaded casement windows. To 1st floor 4 plain
sashes with segmental heads. The front of the building leans
inwards.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORY: the inn is recorded in the renewal list of licenses
in 1784.
