Terrace of 8 dwellings, built c1850 as staff houses for the
gaol (Sessions House, Toft Road (qv)). Brick, roughcast
rendered in one unit, with Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys, 13-window range, with projecting central block.
Alternate doors and windows to ground floor, comprising
single-unit, double-pile plans. 3-window return to east,
planned with central doorway and a room each side of it.
Doorways all have simple radial fans, and lower windows are
round-arched sashes with radial glazing. Upper windows are
9-pane sashes with flat-arched gauged brick heads and
continuous sill-bands. Stone quoins. Axial stacks.
No.2 Bexton Road forms western return of the terrace, a
5-window range with 2-windows blind, and doorway in gabled
porch towards the left.
