Pair of office buildings. c1870. Brick with stone dressings
and slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storey, 5-window range, symmetrically planned in
an Italianate style. Central segmental archway through to rear
courtyard, flanked on each side by doorway and outer window.
All openings have stilted arched stressed architraves, linked
by continuous string course. Pronounced sill bands to upper
storeys, and strongly projecting modillion eaves cornice. End
and axial stacks.
