Public house, possibly purpose-built. Early C19. Brick on
stone plinth with slate roof, hipped over right-hand gable.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3-window range with entrance set to right
of centre, and central upper window (now blocked by inn-sign)
aligned with doorway. 8-panelled door with radial fanlight in
recessed architrave with engaged Tuscan columns. Flanking
windows on ground floor renewed in original openings with flat
arched painted stone heads. Upper windows are 4-pane sashes.
End wall stacks. 2-window return incorporates C19 bar front
with doorway and window set beneath a continuous fascia.
