Pair of semi-detached villas. c1820-50. Stucco over brick with
concealed roof and stucco end stacks; iron balconies.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and basement, with attics to rear, 4
first-floor windows and with single-storey entrance porches to
sides; further 2-storey wing projects to right at rear. Stucco
detailing includes Ionic pilasters to ends and between windows
through ground and first floors, surmounted by crowning dentil
entablature. Replacement 1/1 sashes throughout; basement has
6/6 sashes; all in plain reveals and with sills. Entrance (to
right) has round-arched window to front facade and opening to
return with 2 Ionic columns, flight of steps within to
panelled door. Similar entrance to left. Rear retains 8/8 and
6/6 sashes.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: stuccoed balustrade with bulbous
balusters at ground floor on plinths. Individual balconies to
first-floor windows have lattice motif.
