Summerhouse. c1908 for Major HR French, probably by Cackett &
Burns Dick of Newcastle upon Tyne. Snecked stone and pantiles.
Rectangular plan.
EXTERIOR: four tapered round piers support hipped roof with
pronounced sweep to eaves; boarded eaves soffit on timber
beams. Boarded screen fills north side; low boarded plinth on
west and east sides supports full-width windows with glazing
bars; similar glazing to double doors filling side-facing
garden.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
