House, then shops, now 2 houses. Early C18 with early C20
shop. Coursed squared sandstone; roof of pantiles with brick
chimney.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 2-window range. Shop to left of centre
has step up to central renewed 6-panel door with blocked
overlight under entablature breaking forward over projecting
square bay of shop window to left, which has plain stall
riser, plate glass window and 3 transom lights. To right of
centre, three stone steps up to C20 6-panel door; C20 bow
oriel window with glazing bars and cornice. Small first-floor
windows have 2 lights, the right with glazing bars. Roof has
swept eaves and stone right gable coping surviving in lowest
part where it projects from adjacent house; tall renewed brick
chimney at left end.
