War memorial. 1922 by Sir Charles Carrick Allom. Portland stone. Octagonal plan.
EXTERIOR: octagonal base. Plinth carved with 3 quatrefoils with central rosettes to each facet. Pedestal with moulded base and cornice, carved with names of casualties from 1914-19 and 1939-45. Moulded socket stone carrying tapering shaft with hollow facets separated by keel moulding at corners. Shaft cap with one quatrefoil with central rosette to each facet. Foliated Celtic cross.
